Wow, this was really a great opening! We were blessed with a wonderful audience and all performances were very inspired! Thanks to everyone who came! More photos coming up…If you want to visit the exhibition, it’s open until September 28th. Contact us via our FB page to arrange a private viewing at the Zeitzone Gallery.
This month, we’ve been preparing the animatic for the teaser, doing rough edits of the live footage and finishing the animation set. Here are some pictures of it, as work on it progresses. It will be animated using stopmotion by animator Michael Schmacke and composited with other components to create to world inside the Rabbit’s stomach.
We just shot the live action part of our teaser in a friendly studio in Kreuzberg, Berlin.
On the photo below -the wonderful Appetite CAST and CREW after our teaser shoot this Sunday, November 3rd! ♥
It was a special day – new moon, solar eclipse, Diwali – the Festival of Light in India, retrograde Mercury – time to finish what you started. We sure head a lot of fun during that 12 hour + shooting. Now it’s time to start on the teaser animation and post production… still a long way but we made a big step in the right direction!

Preparations for the Appetite exhibitions went on for some time, it was a huge endeavor and we are very happy with the results. For weeks Yagama, Eva Gardner, and Michi Ukawa were working on the intestines for the rabbit’s stomach and the props for the dinner table, and Odile Hautemule was preparing the costumes, while our DoP Dian Zagorchinov was helping with driving us all around. We started moving into the exhibition space on Monday and we finished on Friday, a few hours before the exhibition. We also have say thanks to Peter Gund for the table ;). Here are some photos from the making of the exhibition. The opening night photos from the performances are coming soon, stay tuned…
